Sleep Number and the American Cancer Society (ACS) teamed up with Kansas City Chiefs legend, Mitchell Schwartz, to donate 85 Sleep Number® smart beds to Hope Lodge® Kansas City.
On Giving Tuesday Sleep Number replaced existing beds at the American Cancer Society (ACS) Hope Lodge in Kansas City with Sleep Number smart beds. This generous donation was made possible in part by donations from Sleep Number® Rewards members, who donated rewards certificates totaling $185,000 in product for the Hope Lodge.
“It is so great that Sleep Number is doing this for us because we know how important it is to get a quality night’s sleep for our guests who are going through cancer treatments,” said Barbie Todd, Assistant Manager, Hope Lodge® Kansas City.
During a pizza party lunch, patients and guests at the Hope Lodge were surprised with a delivery of Sleep Number® smart beds. While the beds were installed, Mitchell Schwartz and KC Wolf connected with residents and volunteers.
